/photo : Life through Pictures

Just a simple gallery to house all of my photos. There's some big events such as Dragon*Con '06, Visiting Canada, etc then the small things like hanging out with friends.

A Resolution

On December 31st 2006, I revoked my standing tradition of not making New Years Resolutions and resolved to get back to my creative roots by taking at least one (1) photograph every day for a year. This photoblog is the result. Unfortunatly, it's been neglected for quite some time. I plan to start again, but who knows what the future brings where I'm concerned.

Grim Interuptions

My livejournal. Mostly fandom ramblings as well as a few rants about life, love and my pursuit of happiness.

Taintly-Faded.org

My personal & creative site. Home to my music videos and fanfic as well as ramblings, icons and randomness. It first opened way back in the day (in 2001 i believe) but offically opened on it's own domain in March of 2004.

Two Cents Worth

Simply put, a vidder's forum. The idea spawned from a late-night conversation with Jennifer and how there's no longer any forums (that we knew about) for vidders to talk to each other, have fun, critique, etc. It opened in March 2006 and closed in late 2007 due to lack of commitment on my part.

with silence & tears...

An Equal Opportunity Music Video Award Site, otherwise known as a multi-fandom mv award site. It opened on Feburary 28, 2005 and was my most successful venture. However, back in late 2007, it closed for reasons I'd rather not say. It was my pride and joy and I met quite a few wonderful people through the process of running it, including Jennifer B who in turn introduced me to my boyfriend, Barry. This site will always hold a special place in my heart.

Socially Anorexic

A web-clique for loners, outcasts and such. Those that are always on the outside looking in. It opened April 23, 2003 and was hosted on geocities until March 2004 when it moved over to taintly-faded.org. In mid 2005 I decided to close it's doors. There weren't many members (that didn't bother me) but I dearly loved the little tiny site. Unfortunatly, I got too many visitors wanting to know the best way of sticking their fingers down their throats to loose weight. Even after I put up disclaimers that the site wasn't for actual aneorxics. So, I shut down the site.

96 Rock Fanlisting

Back in the day, this was by far my favorite radio station in Atlanta Georgia. They played a good mix, had hilarious deejays and it was just a fun station to listen and kill time. However, in March of 2005, controversy struck and they fired the morning crew as per the FCC's request. After their removal, the station went downhill. Things got even worse when they became the Offical Airwave of the Atlanta Braves. Again, there weren't many members, but when I loved the station, it didn't matter. However, when loved turned to mere like and then no feelings at all, I decided it was time to close shop.Occasionally, I'll turn the dial to 96.1, but it's only when extreme boredom overcomes me.

Joan & Adam Romantic Relationship Taboolisting

A few years ago there was this show on called Joan of Arcadia. Though I'm pagan, I really got into it. It wasn't overly religious and didn't force God down your throat. It was refreshing, to say the least. I fell in love with the idea of Joan and Adam actually getting together. Since the fanlisting was taken, I headed over to the taboolistings and applied for the romantic aspect of their relationship. Again with the not many members, but I loved the subject. In January 2006, I started running low on my webspace. In an attempt to cut down on sites, this one was chosen to leave. The show is over and there's a wonderful fanlisting already dedicated to the couple. So, me and the taboolistings parted ways.

The Donna Namelisting

Why I even started this site, I'll never know. I don't really like the name. I never really have. And yeah, I realize it's stupid to not like your name, but to each his own. For some reason, I held onto it for quite a while. In January 2006, it was another casulaty of my rapidly depleting webspace and it closed.

Southern Sweet Iced Tea Fanlisting

I love me some sweet iced tea. I'm actually drinking a glass now. But webspace was needed and I had a horrible time trying to get a layout I actually liked up and running for it. It too closed down in January 2006.
